Training Facilities Introduction

The CKC began operating in September 1997 (moved to the current location and expanded). Trainees enjoy a comfortable and relaxed learning and leisure environment.

Reception Desk The front desk offers a variety of services including storage of personal valuables and sales of daily necessities and stamps. Additionally, if a trainee requires medical attention, the front desk staff will arrange for an escort to the hospital.

Guestrooms Each Western-style guestroom features a private bathroom, TV, telephone, large study desk, goods required for daily living and training, and a LAN port for connecting to the Internet.

Classrooms Various sized classrooms accommodate activities ranging from large group lectures to small group Japanese language classes. An overhead projector (OHP), projector and microphones are also available.

Computer Room The Computer Room enables trainees to take advantage of Web-based training (WBT) and access the Internet free of charge. Japanese Language Training Center (JLTC)

Recreation Facilities The CKC has a gymnasium, tennis court, miniature soccer field, and party room that provide opportunities for trainees to get to know each other better. In the gymnasium, trainees can enjoy badminton, basketball, ping-pong, and other activities. The CKC also features a conversation lounge.

Events Bazaar Takayama Sightseeing Tour The CKC holds events periodically for trainees. The CKC plans and carries out events both inside and outside the center in conjunction with Japanese traditional events and the four seasons. In addition to refreshing their bodies and minds, these events enhance trainees' experience of life in Japan.

Healthy meals have always been an extremely vital factor in the success of AOTS training programs. In order to ensure that the challenges presented by living and studying in a foreign country do not adversely effect trainees' health, AOTS training center canteens offer a broad range of multicultural cuisine that accommodates trainees' religious, cultural, and other preferences; of course, Japanese cuisine is also available. All food is prepared with years of experience and an emphasis on nutrition.

Shuttle Bus The CKC operates a shuttle bus service for the convenience of its trainees. Several buses make morning and evening runs on Monday through Friday between the center and Josui Station (Toyota Line) and Kaizu Station (Aichi Kanjo Line). On Saturday morning only, shuttle service is provided between the center and Josui Station. On Saturdays and Sundays, the shuttle runs between the center and Josui Station, Toyota-shi Station, a shopping mall, and Akaike Station. Please ask about specific shuttle times.
