“AOTS Training Program in Japan for Fiscal Year 2010 (PDF,201KB)” has been uploaded. Several changes will be made to the Training Program Scheme in Japan for the next fiscal year as follows due to reasons including budget reductions for Official Development Assistance. These changes will be officially finalized with the approval of the Board of Directors. Official announcement will be made when finalized.
Kindly understand that the contents currently available on our website may include information based on the Training Program Scheme for fiscal year 2009. They will be updated gradually.
Scheduled Major Changes to the Training Program Scheme in Japan
- Training Activities for Industrial Human Resource Development

Allowance Costs, etc.

The ratios of subsidy for large companies will be uniformly set to 1/2. |
| (2) |
The international travel allowance will be abolished for trainees invited by companies. |
| (3) |
Accommodation fees at the Training Center
< During the General Orientation or Management Training Course >
¥8,500 per night (including three meals from the lunch on the first day to the breakfast of the following day)
< During specialized technical training >
¥7,700 per night (including the supper and the breakfast of the following day) |

When the trainee stays at a company facility during specialized technical training, the accommodation allowance will be ¥1,500 per night. |
| (5) |
The meal allowance will be ¥2,500 per day. |
| (6) |
The personal allowance will be ¥800 per day. |
| (7) |
The specialized technical training expenses for large companies will be uniformly set to ¥3,000 per day. |

For trainees who continue to attend the training from fiscal year 2009, the new allowance standards will apply from April 1, 2010. |

Training duration for trainees accepted in fiscal year 2010 should not be more than one year and training should end by March 31, 2011. |

Overseas training programs conducted by implementing organizations will be abolished. |
