The objective of these activities is to assist with the development and internationalization of Japanese SMEs. Engineers and managers can be invited to Japan for training from joint venture partners, wholly-owned subsidiaries, technically affiliated companies, agents, dealers, or other foreign companies with which business dealings are expected in the near future.
When providing managers and engineers of foreign business partners with training in Japan, there are the following benefits to be gained by utilizing the AOTS training system.

These training activities are designed for the training of foreign managers and engineers, not for gaining foreign workers. The government subsidy is available for accepting trainees from developing countries as well as from developed countries. Some of these countries, however, are not covered.
